Founder Bio

Dr. Tova Tampe, DrPH
Founder & Principal Adviser

Dr. Tova Tampe, DrPH, MPH is a global health and sustainability adviser specializing in integrating health equity into corporate sustainability and ESG strategy. For six years, she served at the World Health Organization in Geneva, where she helped establish the Special Programme on Primary Health Care and led the SDG3 Global Action Plan (PHC Accelerator) to align investments in equitable, community-based service delivery across 13 global agencies.

Tova managed a multi-year, $30M primary health care systems strengthening grant at WHO, coordinating collaboration across headquarters, regional, and country offices in support of national health priorities. She also led strategic alignment efforts with Gavi and the Global Fund to promote equity-focused, community-rooted investment approaches. Her work consistently integrates capacity strengthening, leadership development, and behavior change communication, ensuring solutions are locally-led and sustainable.

Earlier in her career, she secured private-sector partnerships with Colgate-Palmolive and Procter & Gamble to expand WASH, oral health, and community education initiatives in East Africa, and later taught global health and applied health equity research implementation at the George Washington University.

Her approach reflects a core belief: the conditions that allow people to thrive are the same conditions that sustain the planet. She applies systems thinking and regenerative design principles to advance sustainability strategies that support health, dignity, and climate resilience.

She holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Global Health from the George Washington University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University, as well as a double Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Psychology from the University of Vermont.  She also holds a Permaculture Design Certificate from the Crystal Waters EcoVillage (Australia), reflecting training in regenerative and systems-based approaches to human and planetary wellbeing.
